We loved staying with Rachel and Steve. the property is stunning with a lovely little pool and a river in sight. the vegetation is lush and it feels like you're in the jungle but with all of the amenities you need like the fully equipped kitchen and AC. Our time here was perfect, and Rachel and Steve were the best hosts you could ever ask for!
Felt most welcome, nothing too much trouble.

The private villas at Casitas Del Rio are cozy and well-equipped with a queen bed, a small dining table, a kitchenette with all the utensils and appliances you need, and a clean bathroom. They make you feel right at home, perfect for a solo traveler like me.
I personally found the view from the bedroom in the riverview apartments to be a little underwhelming. But hey, that's just my opinion and others might still find it enjoyable.

The bungalows were clean and well-appointed, with a great pool for swimming and areas for walking, meditation, and privacy. The impressive river and waterfalls were a rewarding challenge to explore.
The noise from the cicadas at times was deafening, but it's a reminder that paradise isn't always perfect. The unpaved road leading to the bungalows was steep, so having a car, preferably a 4x4, is necessary.

Incredible property with lovely hosts. Located on a beautiful river in the jungle, it feels completely secluded yet is just minutes from stunning beaches and the conveniences of town. the room was well-stocked with kitchen supplies and appliances, making it easy to cook. the hosts provided excellent communication and gave us great recommendations for things to do. the short adventure up the river to a private waterfall was the highlight of our trip.
No fault of the owners, the cicadas were at times deafening. Nature reminding us paradise isn’t perfect.
